Having stood by and watched her home deteriorate for long enough, she sets out to find the High Lord and bring him back to his seat of power, against the wishes of her brother, Bron.

As Cin helps Tamlin restore his decrepit Manor and re-establish order in the Spring Court, she becomes his closest ally and confidant. Together, they work to rebuild the Court and bring back the faith of the Fae in their High Lord. But as Cin helps Tamlin, she must also confront her own traumatic past. Can these two trauma survivors, Cin and Tamlin, save each other and their home?
