For the past two years, Alanna Miller has had the constant feeling of being watched from afar.
Even though she is entirely distraught, and living in fear of someone coming after her, no one, not even her parents, believe her claim. "There's no evidence of such," they say, "it's all in your head."

But it isn't. Alanna knows someone's watching her, and when a paper is taped to the outside of her bedroom window with the words "watch your back" printed in black ink, her parents send her to live with a family friend in the next city over in hopes of keeping their daughter safe and out of harm's way.
