It seems that everyone has an "English" Bible filled with undecipherable grammar, spelling, activities, and interpretations because it was written in an ancient language starting around 3000-4000 years ago and scribed to be read by people in that ancient time. (Most of whom couldn't read.) Why would anyone want to read a book like that today? The fact that it is the best selling book of all time does not make up for it being the least read and understood book in the history of books. How are we to understand the lives and cultures of some desert barbarians from 2000-4000 years ago? Why use a book of worship written that long ago in a strange language, which is sworn to be totally unchanged in all that time and rewriting? Why not read a book that was begun only a few years ago which is added to, edited, and corrected even as I am posting it? This volume is a modern revision of the Bible written in modern English so that modern people in modern circumstances and culture can read and understand it better. I hope that you enjoy this re-interpretation of the Bible. I'll probably want some company in Hell.
