An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. This amazing story written by me, Captain Giggles, is full of action, drama, humor, and much more to somes likings. If you don't like his book I understand, but maybe give me some facts or information on what I can do better to improve this book. This book is about just some regular high school teens and just their life. Characters (Key Main Characters Kind of): Marvin and Daniel are very different. Daniel is a straight A-B student, is in a band, is a lady magnet ;So Marvin calls him; is very quiet at times, he's also 17 years old. Marvin is the opposite of Daniel,he's 19. Now James is an interesting boy; he is a big partier, loves to surf, his best friend is Marvin, he's a player but not a player like Marvin is, he has dark brown hair, also dark blue/ green eyes, he loves his sister Jade and watches out for her. Now Jade, interesting girl I have to say; she's hates the popularity but she deals with it, she has green cat like eyes, light brown hair, she's not a type of girl who dresses up to impress or anything, she only does what she wants and needs to, her make up is almost always light, most boys think of her has a "hot girl", she's a surfer; might I say quiet an amazingly great one to; she follows her brother to his friends parties and things like that to make sure he's safe, she has a crush on Daniel, but so do all the other girls too. For your information I'm not a stalker just a close friend XD Heck! I'm the writer so I know everything about them because I made them! But I hope you like this story I'm making right now!! This story is y/n (you) falls in love with a football player (an oc of mine). More info: Y/N is a 16 going on 17 year old female, in her Junior year of high school. It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. She knows nothing about him so she's determined to learn more. What she finds out shocks her completely. Preview: "Y/n! Come on let's go!" "Yeah! You are going to make us late!" "God! I'm coming I'm coming! I just needed to grab something." I said walking out to them. "Is that a book?" "Yeah- I really need to know what happens! I'm almost done with it, once I finish I'll watch the game don't worry." I assured the two of them. "Okay want ever you say." We left to go to the game finding a close-to-the-front seat. The three of us sat, we already bought some drinks and snacks. The game soon started and I began to read. "Player down!" Someone yelled as they ran a crossed the field. My head snapped up to get a look and I saw number 22 sitting up with one leg bent and the other laying on the ground. He seamed calm. "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. He held the eye contact this time, I gave him a small smile and he gave me a sweet smile. "He smiled at you!" "It was just a smile," I said going back to my book. "You have a crush." "You definitely do, but we won't say anything, yet." I rolled my eyes at both of them. They were right, no, maybe. He was cute, the way his hair fell, and how he put the other player before himself. I thought it was cute.
