Kalani Thompson's passion and way of life has always been fuelled by the stars. She believes in astrology and believes the star you were born under is what determines your life choices. She studies each star sign religiously and won't stop no matter how many people tell her to.

It's been five years since the loss of her best friend, Archie, but things haven't changed a bit. After graduating university without the company of her -once complicated- lover, she's in search of more work to get up to for the year. She reaches out to Archie's brother, Finley, who decides to sign her up to a holiday camp resort for the year.

When she moves to New York to do so, she doesn't expect to come across Finley's best friend, Jackson Davis. Nor does she expect to fall in love with him and his past which to this day has been best kept secret. Jackson's secret only lasts until he meets Kalani. But will it make or break the deep connection between them both?
