When Shelley's mum dies in an accident her whole world is turned upside down. After a near death experience and being abandoned by her father she is beyond broken. But when she discovers a cousin she never knew existed and forms a bond with him she thinks she might be able to survive her predicament. Staying at her cousin Derek's house she meets Lucas.
