A novelized version of my Teen Writing series on TikTok based on a script I wrote in my late teens, around ages 19-22. James Carterson is a prolific writer for a children's magazine who is on the brink of debuting his first full-length novel. The deal is if he can incorporate a romance in his book that will guarantee sales, then his agent will get it published. The only problem is James Carterson has the worst luck with love and hasn't the faintest idea of how to write a believable love story without the experience to back it up. But with the help of his best friend Mallory Manderly and the beautiful new girl in town, Kate Hunter, James might finally learn what love really is.

"The roses are dead, The violets are too, Don't mention romance, You'll make me spew." Francesca Burton knows all there is to know about love and romance. She knows that love is for the naïve and romance is for the delusional. Her parents taught her that. So, there is absolutely no chance that some (admittedly) good-looking, (vaguely) charming, (annoyingly) lopsided-grinning, golden boy is going to convince her otherwise. End of story. Except it isn't. Because they have to do a school project together. And the golden boy just said four little words that are going to change everything - irrevocably and forever... "I have an idea."
