Dream of the endless has a human man fall for him, denying all his own feelings toward him or else the humans life will end in tragedy. As long as he is mortal he must refuse the man's affections and deny him dreams of his caress.
Descended from a long line of witches and warlocks the man must muster all the power in his blood to do a spell that could kill him rather than make him immortal. He is willing to go far lengths to be Morpheus' consort, and Dream testing the limits of The Endless laws to have him by his side.
