The world thinks I'm the arrogant one. The rule-breaker. The charming duelist who gets away with everything. They're not wrong. But no one knows what's at stake when I look at Anne. No one knows what I've done. What I'll still do. I made a promise. One I intend to keep. Not for the Headmaster. Not for the school. Not even for the girl with the violet eyes and the clever mouth who's stumbled straight into my path. Qynna Veilinharv. She wasn't here before. Now she's exactly where I need her. She casts spells like she's never learned them, argues like a Slytherin, blushes like a Hufflepuff, and hides things like the world depends on it. I should have left her alone. I didn't. She keeps walking straight into my plans, and every time she does, it becomes easier to let her. The closer she gets, the more I can see what she's made of. And the truth is, some part of me likes watching her try. Even if she never realises how deep she's wandered. Even if, by the time she does, it's already too late. Includes: ✨ Secrets, lies, and very bad decisions ✨ A meddling, mysterious girl with more power than she knows ✨ A cocky protagonist who absolutely has a fan club ✨ A slow descent into dark magic Sebastian Sallow x Fem!OC (but replace "Qynna" and "Veilinharv" with your own OC if you wish- we're all secretly shifting anyway.) ⚠️ Trigger Warnings This story includes themes of grief, terminal illness, death, PTSD, anxiety, depression, obsession, self-harm, light intimacy, violence, blood, dark magic, alcoholism, and emotional ruin. Spoilers for Hogwarts Legacy throughout. Game scenes may appear with new context, expanded dialogue, or darker consequences. Leave comments, theories, chaos, pain. I read them all like they're letters from Azkaban. Thank you for being here. And good luck. You'll need it. - misspurrple
