Im not very good at summaries, and since this is my first book I'll try to explain:
Mudkip dies and comes back as a ghost, hoping to at least talk to Chespin again. After to talking to Chespin a little bit, Chespin becomes desperate to try to make everything normal like before he got arrested and stuff. So he breaks into Mudkips house and finds a book about robotics. He reads it, and gets an idea and how to make things normal again.
