They forget sometimes, that we are alike. We are all made from the same things, we are angels all the same, even if we have fallen. You have always been told there is no edge to the earth. But thousands of years ago, there once existed an edge. An entrance to the realm below the earth, the underbelly of the world. There lived the evil cursed down from the heaven's eons ago, and their offspring since. The entrance is a little-known place, in a woods you've never heard of, in a town that no longer exists. It lives at the turning point from up above to down below. And one day, a little girl finds it. Mari finds the entrance, and her life is turned upside down. There, her and her brother come to know two of the evil's offspring, Ciel and Basil. The four grow up together, soon becoming an inseparable pack. But when things begin to go awry, they realize more may be interfering than just nature. With gods toying with their lives, the four must decide between their friendship and love, or the world.

two boys. two houses. two hearts. Seventeen-year-old 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 has a long stretch of boring, lonely summer ahead of him. So when a new boy his age moves in next door, he sees an opportunity -- for what, he doesn't quite know yet. Meanwhile, 𝗝𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿 just wants to move on from his haunting past and get a fresh start in his new home. He doesn't expect his new, annoyingly attractive neighbour to get in the way of that. Funny how time has a way of changing even the stubbornest of hearts. And, in the same way, has an awful way of breaking them. [mature for themes of self-harm and domestic violence]
