Life sucks, why not avoid it? Onyx created a life in their mind that was better. Any creature they imagined existed, the fake friends in their head treated them well, no one could hurt them in their dream world. They could live amongst all of their favorite characters! Dating one for a day, being friends with another for a week before they moved on to another character. It was unhealthy bliss until a certain king didn't agree with Onyx's unhealthy life choices.

(The only thing I imply about the reader is the name.)

(The first four chapters are in third person because I can and I will.)
