A Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild fanfiction.
Times are dark. Ganon's return is at Hyrule's very doorstep, yet the kingdom's Hero of Legend is nowhere to be found. Just when hope that the Princess will receive a worthy protector is at an ultimate low, a stranger appears, requesting the right to serve as Zelda's Champion. Many believe the stranger to be ill-suited to the task, and the stranger, haunted by a dark past, has her own doubts to grapple with.

A lot of work needs to be done to rebuild Hyrule, and to convince others to help will take a lot of work from Link and Zelda. Having all his memories back, Link is plagued with thoughts and memories of the Champions, wishing he could go back in time and save them. He can't focus on the past too much though, because an incredible threat has woken up, and will certainly destroy Hyrule if nothing is done soon.
