Omar, an intense, idealistic, and fiery youth of 18, gets caught in the fever of an independent Kashmir with no ties with India or Pakistan.
One day, while he's out fighting the police in the company of other youth for the freedom of Kashmir, his parents are brutally murdered, leaving him alone in the world with his older sister Aseem.
Despite his politically connected and powerful uncle Ali's support, the corrupt police cannot catch the murderer. In fact, Ali seems complicit in the murder, and his complex political machine seems to muddle the search for the murderer.
Omar meets a violent Jihadi named Waqas, by coincidence or planning. Waqas is a ferocious man in love with Aseem. He promises to help Omar find the killer and punish him.
But soon Omar finds out that Waqas has sinister plans of his own.
Thrown into the turmoil of Kashmir's political life and supported by the fiery youth, Omar rises to become the Chief Minister of Kashmir. Now he has the power and motivation to find the killer and punish the people who betrayed him.
In the meantime, Uncle Ali deploys all his resources to counter Omar's efforts at running the government of Kashmir and, as a well-known leader, to seize political power.
Omar sizzles with revenge, and Ali makes all his efforts useless.
Staying in the background, Omar's sister Aseem takes the vendetta to its logical conclusion.
