When Ella Bianchi experiences a violent break-up over a misunderstanding, she can't figure out how to get her feelings across in a way that could make her ex understand. Especially when he's giving her the cold shoulder, and he already has a new girlfriend. 

She begins to write letters addressed to him, filled with her feelings and everything she's been wanting to tell him since they broke up.  She writes what really happened on the day he accused her of cheating on him.

But Ella doesn't send the letters. She just can't bring herself to. So they simply pile up in her notebook, hopefully never to be seen by Nathan Boone's eyes.
