Steve and the reader met in college but didn't start dating until a few years after they graduated. Six months ago, Steve breaks up with her out of the blue and without giving a good reason why.

The reader and Tony Stark have been best friends since they were eight. She now works with Tony at Stark Industries as his personal assistant. Tony and Pepper have been by the reader's side as she goes through her heartbreak.
