There once was a prince, who fell in love with a girl.
But she wasn't a princess.
She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince.
The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed.
This story was called "The Lover's Curse."
As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth.
But it was true.
