Long ago, the magical and peace-loving fae retreated from Earth and created a world all their own. For thousands of years, they have fulfilled a sacred pact with humankind. As long as a member of the Logan family line sits on the throne, their realm will stand the test of time. But the oracle has seen a troubling vision-a fae plans to steal the throne, breaking the promise and destroying their world.

The fae council must work together to protect their Queen and thwart the throne seeker.

In a world of breathtaking beauty, where humans and elves coexisted, a fantasy revolution was sparked by humanity's lust for power. The elves, being the first inhabitants of the planet, had developed a deep understanding of life and peace, earning them the trust of the great dragons, which granted them elemental powers. Which the elves returned their gratitude by treating their beloved creatures as the God's they were. As humans evolved at a rapid pace, they began to encroach on elven territories, leading to the creation of canyons and mountains to separate the two races. Despite this, a forbidden love blossomed between a human and an elf, but it was short-lived due to their differing lifespans. However, their friendship endured, and the earth elves built a bridge and paths to facilitate harmony between the two races. Over time, the elves shared their magical knowledge with humans, but humanity's selfish desires led them to destroy the elven race and their city of Amma. Despite the odds, a small group of elves continued to live secretly among humans, awaiting the day when they could rise again.

TRIGGER WARNINGS: I focus on the plot but there will be some vivid blood/gore depictions and violence. There will also be some dark themes at play. The Fae have always loved their games... and we were nothing but their pawns. The Aedan Faeries had been gifted with the elemental magic of fire by the Elder Tree but when the last Aedan King died with no clear heir, their magic had started to die. By the wisdom of the Elder Tree, the one who endures its three trials will emerge the new Aedan King Ash hardly cared. Humans were just a blip of existence to the Fae's and it showed in the way that her kind was treated. Fearing for her life (and her mind) every day, privy to the horrors that they all endured, she just hoped that whenever the next Aedan King was coronated, it was long after she was dead... ... and not a moment too soon when she's picked by the Elder Tree to undergo its three trials, an unwelcome addition to the six who'd already been chosen to compete. Maybe this was better - at least her death will be swift, a victory in and of itself.

As she masters her skills, she, along with her friends, are given the opportunity to leave and earn her freedom. It's the first step in finding herself and her answers and perhaps it could change her life in ways she couldn't imagine when she was taking everyone's orders in the kitchen. Princess Illyana is the eldest of the king's five daughters. In a few days time, the Queens Trial will begin and there are only two possible outcomes. The first is she will fail and get sacrificed. The second is she will win and be forcibly wed to a cruel man and live the rest of her life knowing she is alive because her sisters are dead. Illyana wants more. She wants to rule the Kingdom of Vivelle with her sisters by her side. She only has a few days left to come up with a plan before the Trial begins. With the whole kingdom watching eagerly to see which daughter wins, it is going to be almost impossible for Illyana to change the minds of a nation so that she can sit on the throne. Warning!
