Adriana, a 23-year-old medical student who struggles with depression and traumatized childhood, tries to achieve her goal of becoming an oncologist but the financial obstacles and the fact she lives with three of her friends and away from her family make it difficult for her to obtain high grades.
After receiving bad news about her grades, she starts giving up on her dream, feeling like she has reached a dead end in her career, and- that night -goes to her friend's play, where she will meet a young man named Sage, a 28-year-old famous actor of a teenage soap opera TV show. He also has struggled with setbacks in his acting career and now that he has a stable job, he is on the hunt to find a partner to settle with. Can one night change both lives forever?
