In a post-apocalyptic world where nature has reclaimed all that was, and a war that divided two species apart there are conflicts still left unresolved. The past isn't what it seems nor the creatures within it. Alita desperately wants to find out the truth. What happened to her family? Her people? But Kieren is hesitant, the truth may not be what it seems, or what they remember.

The dates match. Everything added up. How could I not realize it? The bodies. The charges. The gossip. The rumours. The accuracy. The deaths. Every single body went missing. They were right, I should have listened. I knew something was weird, but not this bad. The darkest souls own the brightest smiles. A light so captive, you don't even realize they've gotten so close. Don't even realize when you've befriended them and their darkness has touched you. This story is my own, which means I own the characters, plot, etc. However, I did get some inspiration from James Patterson's WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, just with a slight twist ;)
