Frank never really had a family, but when the only person he ever trusted sent him away to the mental ward of the nearest hospital, he disregarded the fact that family was even a concept that existed. Frank had always been a messed up kid, with the suicide, the pills, the blades, he was the opposite of what his parents wanted him to be. Gerard was in the hospital for all the right reasons. After his diagnosis with leukemia when he was fourteen, he lived to live. He wants to get as much done as possible before the cancer eats his heart for good. Well, wanted. After the hard work of surviving so many near-death experiences, Gerard is just tired. He just wants it all to be over. He's transferred to the mental ward after a suicide attempt, and has been staying there ever since.
