Star Captain Alexa Hazen is the commander of a small Clan Jade Falcon Recon Supernova. This Bloodnamed Mechwarrior is fierce and thinks outside of Clan doctrine, which has the ire of her clan. Having been forced to bid her small unit to a massive undertaking Alexa must overcome insurmountable odds to reinstate her honor!
Major Xander Bates of the 1st Funston Fusiliers has commanded his mercenary unit through the worst of the Clan Invasion. The Fusiliers have been known to use the clans doctrine against them to great effect. Now the Fusiliers have been contracted to garrison on a world of great importance to the Free Rasalhague Republic.
These two competent commanders have been set on a collision course. One fighting to reclaim her honor and vastly outnumbered, the other dead set on fulfilling a contract at any cost. Will honor and guile prevail over treachery and massive firepower?
