Hana Sarutobi had a good childhood, up until her fathers death leaving her full of guilt and loneliness. Her mom is nothing but a shell of a human leaving Hana to fend for herself. The only people who are there for her during this time are her two childhood friends, Choji Akimichi and Shikamaru Nara. As Hana tries to figure her life out and continue following in her fathers footsteps, she can't help but realize her feelings regarding Shikamaru. Will her self doubt and trauma cost her the person she loves?
