But little did she know that she was just another unfortunate soul whose mate had different plans. Caden was an young alpha. He had everything but where everyone was eager to meet their mate, he wasn't. He had already given his position of alpha female to his girlfriend. But after she left him, he turned cold and ruthless. But when he met Annie, his mate, one thing was clear. He wanted nothing to do with her. He asked her to leave but when she declined, he paid her no attention like she never existed. Annie was broken. The Grave Digger
The Grave Digger is the the tale of a young man's rise to infamy, from simple hunter to vicious killer. Set in a grim, high fantasy world, its dark, bloody, and full of tidbits hinting at a much larger world outside the confines of the small mountain village the story is set in. It's my first attempt at writing fantasy, I'm normally more interested in scifi, and I would love to hear what you think about it. Feedback is greatly appreciated. It's a novelette, about 16,000 words. A supplementary piece of short fiction for a more complete series that is currently in the works. This is a second draft, and I am aware it is in desperate need of a good edit, but I wanted wanted to just get it out there. Hope you enjoy.Complete
