**This story starts after love never dies. 

After Meg shot Christine, she ran off, not knowing her friend died.

Erik was left with Gustave, and is now trying to peice together their shattered lives.

Raoul's drinking problem landed him in jail, and now he's seperated from his last relation to Christine.

Mme. Giry passed away due to cancer.

Gustave misses his mother dearly, and visits her grave frequently.

It turns out that Meg had a cousin, named Patricia. She always went by Pattie, but now goes by Trixie.

Erik gives up his Angel, Christine, and pursues his new love interest, the long-lost Giry.
