Run and Hide
Here's a preview: I was awoken to a loud siren. I heard a loud pounding. “Vi?! Vi?!?! Are you there?!?!?!” I could barely hear him but I can tell that he was screaming at the top of his lungs. I got up and ran to the door and opened it. “Noah?! What the fuck is going on?!” I screamed. “I can’t hear you!!” He screamed back. The siren was too loud. I signed it out for him. He signed back that some wolfies broke into the camp. We ran to the kitchen and got some food and water. We stuffed it into our duffle bags. It seemed like it would last us about a month or so. We ran to the Hummer and we were off. I check my watch, it was 10 AM. I slept for a good 4 hours. I checked the rear view mirror to see if anyone was following. It was clear. “Who were they after?” I asked Noah, after 30 minutes of silence. I wasn’t looking at him but looking through the window. “Funny…. They were after you Vi.” He said with surprise in his voice.Complete
Unlucky Fortune
I sense him before I see him but carry on with folding the washing. "I see you found me." I say loud enough for him to hear. I feel him walking towards me. I can tell who its just by looking at their uniform. We all get given a unique uniform that is made for us. I carry on folding the washing whilst waiting for his reply. "We need you to come in." He replies nochantly. I smile and turn around flicking off his hood. "And what do I need to come in for? Brother." I ask, emphasising on brother. His face remains emotionless but his eyes betray him. They are filled with sadness, anger and betrayal. "You know why otherwise you wouldn't have let us find you." He replies. My smile widens. "You know me so well. I had my suspicions but I want to here it directly." I tell him. He growls at me, "They're back. Okay. They are all back." -------------------------------------- Do you ever wish that life was simple? That you could live it normally? I do. I was. But I'll never live it normally.Complete

Saved By a Stranger
No one stopped to look. No one glanced in the alley I cried in. I was tired of this place, so tired of the endless days that stretched out before me. The emptiness in my heart was eating me alive, with no end in sight. My own darkness was swallowing me whole and leaving nothing alive. The tears froze on my bright red cheeks. I was tired of feeling so broken, but most of all I was tired of being so alone. I pulled out the cold heavy weapon from my coat and stared at it. "If someone would look this way," I thought, "If someone would just glance at me and see my pain. I won't do it." There was a man standing in front of me. After he removed the single bullet from my pistol, he handed it back to me, and left. I followed the man at a distance back to his apartment. He knew that I had followed him and waited at the door to let me in. For reasons I cannot explain I entered his tiny apartment. I fell asleep at the table playing with the bullet and woke up to my alarm the following morning. There was a pillow beneath my head, a blanket over my shoulders, and a note that read: "Dear Stranger..."Complete
