"Everyone's a little weird here, but so am I, so I'm not gonna judge them."

Y/N is fine with her life in Paris. She's got a small friend group, is decently well liked, and has a good home life. She's right in her comfort zone, and that's the way she likes it.

Her parents, however, don't.

They uproot their lifes, and move Y/N away from her friends to go move to the center of Paris, near the Eiffel Tower. They transfer her to Collège Françoise Dupont, a public middle school with rumors so terrible that they'd reached Y/N's old school, all the way across Paris.

Y/N's not the most... adaptable in these kind of situations, but what do you expect from a 13 year old girl whos city has run amok with akumatized villains?

Hawkmoth is defeated and Marinette's secret of her being ladybug gets out. Her parents are shocked and angry and happy at the same time but are worried for their daughter's safety. I do not own the characters used in this fanfiction, all character rights go to the creators and producers of Miraculous Ladybug. Marinette has become more cold, lonely, quite but she also becomes a good lier and has the best acting skills so people at school can think that she is only a little mad because she is grieving her mother's death. Also, Marinette is ladybug and she still is close friends with Alya some but has mostly shut everyone out besides she is acquaintances with Nino and Adrien. On the other hand, Her father has taken his wife death quite hard. The first week of her death, the bakery wasn't open but his slowly getting back to the swing of things for work but his been quite and is hard to look at Marinette because how much she looks like his wife did.
