Lena Adams is trying to survive an abusive marriage while trying to raise her 13 year old daughter Frankie and 6 old daughter Callie. Being terrified of her husband and scared to leave a life alternating event happens in which a cop, Stef Foster, enters their lives and never leaves. But will the love and strength the cop provides be enough for Lena and her kids to overcome their traumatic past?
