Almora was tucked away, hidden away from society and untouched by human feet. No one dared venture out to find, for the horrible Death Sea that encompassed the island. Any ship that tried would perish beneath the deep and dark waters, lost in a sea that had taken enough souls. Despite no human having been on Almora, there was still life. There were dragons. Born of incredible might and power, created with the power of gods, and they were the pinnacle of a gods creation. Some garnered the power of fire and flame, some had the powers of water and sea, but Corain had no power until recently. Corain had never thought himself to be a powerful dragon until a new kind of power dawns on him. But there are some dragons, hungry for more, that would love to take the power from him. New foes, new enemies, new hatred, but one thing stays the same. The Power of the Dragon.

After a disastrous climb up Half Dome in Yosemite, California -Eoin finds himself taken to a different world than the one he was born into. It's a place of fantasy. Where creatures like elves and fae live. It is also a place that holds a deep, brutal history. As an outsider, it is quite possibly the last place someone like Eoin should be. Yet, there could be a reason for his arrival. Eoin finds himself in the midst of a civil war between the most unlikely of things. Dragons. A race of human-looking beings who can take the form of true dragons. Yet, their heated war is perhaps the most deadly thing to encounter. Dragons are powerful, almost god-like and many of the brethren have proven that they cannot be allowed to run free with their immense powers. Yet, in the middle of such chaos, Eoin finds himself in the arms of a particularly powerful dragon. And the crown prince no less: Nakiirn. Despite the safety Nakiirn provides, the dangers that abound eventually sneak their way past the draconic protector and straight for the vulnerable human a long way from home.
