Almora was tucked away, hidden away from society and untouched by human feet. No one dared venture out to find, for the horrible Death Sea that encompassed the island. Any ship that tried would perish beneath the deep and dark waters, lost in a sea that had taken enough souls.
Despite no human having been on Almora, there was still life. There were dragons. Born of incredible might and power, created with the power of gods, and they were the pinnacle of a gods creation. Some garnered the power of fire and flame, some had the powers of water and sea, but Corain had no power until recently. Corain had never thought himself to be a powerful dragon until a new kind of power dawns on him. But there are some dragons, hungry for more, that would love to take the power from him. New foes, new enemies, new hatred, but one thing stays the same.

However, when her soon-to-be husband is burned alive by a fiery creature, she realizes there's more to life than just suitors and balls. ~·~·~ As a woman, Alyria Willows is expected to cast aside her pursuit of independence to fulfil her duties as an acquiescent housewife; all for the sake of one's honour not even her own. However, the veil isn't as pellucid as Alyria thinks when a devastating upheaval leaves her grasping for answers. It's only after surviving a terrifying experience that she discovers more than blood flows through her veins. But that'll be the least of her concerns when a creature neither man nor dragon stalks her from the shadows. His gaze pierces like iron. His power radiates like lava. But even a man of his strength cannot hinder the threat that seeks to destroy. A ballet of starlight foretells a restless war. Lies will be unearthed, truths will be muddled, and victories will come at a steep price. But not everything is as it seems. He said, with longing in his eyes and voice, and a hint of curiosity, which surprised me. I thought I sensed a bit of coldness from him a while ago. "It is truly a pleasure meeting you, Elen." He kissed my gloved hand once again, which made me inhale deeply, as if his touch sends electricity up to my spine. "And I, you Damian." * * * A 29-year-old soon-to-be physician, Eleanor, found herself waking up in a strange world where magic and mythical creatures exist, spells are cast, and an entire kingdom that needs to be saved by a long lost princess..
