'The Hunger Games: Aftermath' is my view on the ending of the well known, best-selling trilogy known as the Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins. This story will include some of the main characters that were mentioned in some of the books. Also I have hopefully given the strory a unique twist while there are a few suprizes on the way. This is a great story for all of you Hunger Games fans. Please read and enjoy my version of this much loved series.

We all know and love the beautifully written novel by Suzanne Collins, The Hunger Games. This dystopian series had quite a time to jump in the epilogue. Katniss and Peeta are in the meadow with their two children, but what happened before that? Read to see how I think their story would play out.
This Tree Bleeds Red /|\ Hunger Games
This work follows The Hunger Games book from the POV of an OC. Some of the plot will be changed and/or dialogue will be different. I will be following the original plot from the book as closely as possible, with some variations of differing scenes or text due to the OC insert. Thus, the world, most of the characters in this fic, most of the plot, and dialogue, belongs to and is owned by Suzanne Collins. All rights are to the creators of the hunger games series. This work will span through the first book in The Hunger Games Trilogy, and I hope to create others in the future that insert Willow into the other two books as well. Disclaimer: There will likely be some stuff in this fic that are cliche within Hunger Games fics. Also note: there's a last name naming convention for abandoned and orphaned children that is used throughout the districts. Willow's last name is Fairchild because of this. Fairchild is the most common surname for orphans, and is known throughout the districts to be for an orphaned or abandoned person. ALSO IMPORTANT: In this fanfic, Peeta and Katniss are aged up to 18, everybody else's ages are staying the same, don't come for me pls.
