It's the 1980s. When comic book obsessed John Laurens is forced to move to New York, he has high hopes of finally getting recognised as a comic book artist and being popular. Instead, he is the opposite of popular and spends most of his time drawing and avoiding bullies. And then he meets troublemaker rebel Alexander Hamilton, popular girl Elizabeth Schuyler, skater girl Maria Lewis, brainy boy Aaron Burr, who are all looking for the same thing: the meaning of life.

John Laurens: A boy who has lived in South Carolina until he was ten. Homeschool until his senior year of high school. He was finally being enrolled at King's College after attending NYU for a year. He was never very social and only had a few friends. Not to mention he was gay. Alexander Hamilton: Orphan and Carribean immigrant. His father left at 10, his mom died at 12, and his cousin committed suicide at 17. He was on his own. Never went to school until he started his Sophomore year at King's College. For these two boys. (I know that Laurens is the one that's 3 years older, but John sounds cute as a shy kid. I also know this is probably crappy, and ive changed some details, such as Lafayette being three years older than Laurens instead of three years younger, and ive made relations between characters that aren't real.
