I always believed if you work hard enough, you can make your dreams come true. But now, I think dreams are dreams for a reason. After a tough few years living in the city, I returned home to wind down and relax before I graduate. I had planned to visit the local monastery a few times to read, help out my parents, and catch up with a few people. I never planned on being dragged into a whole new world. Especially not on my first day back. 🌸~~~~~~~~~~~~~~🌸 On a sunny day in a small town tucked away near some mountains in South Korea, a young boy was home from college. The boy was walking through the beautiful, serene gardens nestled away behind the temple walls, hoping to find some peace. Just as he had begun to unwind by losing himself within the pages of his latest read, something unexpected happened. Something that would change everything. He discovered a strange portal. Somehow it called to him, frightfully so. Now, his life is being turned upside down. But he doesn't regret finding that portal. . . . . . . . .

When I was little, I was never healthy for a full day. When I would go to school, I would carry around an oxygen tank so that I could breathe properly. There was once where I had come close to death. At that time, my mother and father promised me that they wouldn't ever leave me. That is, until someone came in an murdered them while I was at school. When I was dropped off from the bus stop, I automatically knew something was wrong because my mother would always wait for me. When she wasn't there, I began to get worried. 'Had she forgotten?' Was the first thing I thought as I walked up the stairs and into my house. 'Mama? Papa?' I questioned walking into their room. As I made the first step in, I heard squishing under my feet as if the carpet was wet.
