Their ultimatum was by a week's end to make a decision between keeping to the shadows with them, forgiving all the public disgrace he had placed upon their clan. Or continue to go against their wishes, which meant succumbing to his death.

Not so far away, Jason Galen is worried about his daughter, Elena. She has the ability to heal. Even though her ability could help many, it is the light energy she produces that is highly sought after. Jason is aware that if the Warlock ever finds her, they will use her powers for their own nefarious reasons. He had so far kept his mother and young daughter safe in their small hut of the forest; but how much longer until someone with magic would be able to detect her?
