The patch 2.4 of Diablo 2: Resurrected is the first major balance update for the game in more than 11 years. The update also corrects some nasty bugs that players have encountered since the game first was launched in 2000.

Not to be missed are two long-standing bugs in Diablo 2 that would have completely destroyed your character's mana -- leaving some classes defenceless, or taking excessive damage, specifically, fire-enchanted monsters. From Blizzard's lengthy patch notes:
