"I was running a diagnostic on my Terminal. There was a bunch of error messages. I as told to evacuate, then I think it just... exploded." He said, his memory making him more thankful for whatever painkillers these were as the searing moment flooded back. He wanted to sit-up and look at himself. He wanted to move. He wanted to truly know the damage. Though as the doctor spoke he started to come to an understanding.
"So, the bad news-..." he started, enough to settle stones in his stomach.

You chirp, grinning up at him. He double-checks your expression. His eye staring into yours to see how you're feeling.
