In the world of Dragonfire, anything is possible. Flying, teleportation, invisibility, the ability to create a lightning storm on a whim...anything can be done. And anything can exist. Goblins, Orcs, Dragons, Dwarves, Kitsunes...there are countless races, and countless abilities. A world of fantasy in which anything is achievable. Or so it seems. After all, everything has a cost. And victory...victory is the most costing of all. Across the Black Sea, guarded by the Leviathan, there exists a large land separated into five territories. Celestia, Arvan, Ingres, Illicen, and Arumi. These five territories are named after those who control them. At least, that is how it used to be. From a distant land, the Snake Kingdom managed to bypass the Leviathan, and invade these five territories! Under the guidance of General Clauve, they crushed everyone in sight, until their only remaining opponent was Celestia. But they made a mistake, and Celestia capitalized. In a crushing defeat, the Snake Kingdom was bested after nearly 8 years of conflict. After the war ended, Albedo Aria, a soldier from Celestia, was promoted to the rank of General. But she didn't feel like a hero. Suffering from severe PTSD, this story follows her as she tries to overcome the nightmares of war, and move on from the terrible things she was forced to do. She was raised to be a soldier, and joined the war from the age of eleven. As a soldier of Celestia, she could never, and still cannot ever disobey any orders. When war calls, she must answer. Whether she is truly willing to or not. But after four years without conflict, surely things couldn't reach that state again? Or perhaps that isn't the case. After all, her dear cousin must deliver a letter to her. A letter telling her that the Snake Kingdom is on the rise in their very own land. A letter telling her that every sliver of happiness she has gained after the war ended will be lost. A letter telling her that she must return to war...

A Plaything for the Dragons by annablazer
29 parts Ongoing Mature
❝Two dragons and their dirty little plaything.❞ I didn't have much to lose in the war of Dacva, but it left me scarred for the rest of my life. I'm just a red female dragon, scraping by from one day to the next in the Banished realm by doing petty crimes. It's enough for my meagre existence. But when I went from petty crimes to attempting an assassination on the sleeping princess out of sheer desperation, it didn't end well. When I'm caught and interrogated by the banished Kings, I must do everything to keep them from finding out the truth of my lineage. However, it gets harder with the two Banished Kings constantly breathing down my neck and taking too much interest in my scars and my scales. Before I know it, I'm their plaything, and they seem to find it hard to keep their hands off me and each other. As much as it tempts me to bare myself to them completely for them to claim every inch of me, I need to keep my secret. Once they find out about my lineage, it would turn into the bloodiest war the dragons have ever fought. I don't want another war, but with the Banished Kings wanting to possess more than my body, a war seems inevitable. How long can I stall the inevitable? I have fought a bloody war before; I could fight another if needed. But with my secrets unravelling and the fate playing a silly joke with me again, would the Kings accept me after learning my truth? Or would they reject me and toss me away after having their fill of playtime with me? ~ A stand-alone book. Themes: mxmxf (everyone does everyone), slow burn, smut (loads of it), dirty talking, knotting, breeding, reverse harem, romance, action, world-building and a purely character-driven plot with wholesome and humorous moments :) What's not in the book? - Grape. Even though there's a power imbalance between the FL and the MLs, whatever happens between them and her involves consent. No cheating. ~ ONGOING UPDATES: Mon, Wed, Fri (Read daily updates on Patreon. Grim Echoes by ryanahunter
94 parts Complete Mature
Maeve's ability to touch others' souls can be heartbreaking and confusing, but when she connects with two murderers, it turns her world upside down. Are they still killers if they only kill monsters? What starts as a random attack on the street stopped by two strangers quickly escalates as Maeve discovers her attackers were demons. Thrusting her into their violent world, Maeve struggles to hold on to her humanity, making choices she never believed she would have to make. Disturbed but drawn to each of them. Will's bestial nature calls to her one moment and rejects her the next. While a powerful attachment to Ander's gentle soul comforts her, but every time they connect, she feels his darkness just below the surface. Will's entire life has been a war against monsters, alongside his best-friend Ander. Honor bound by duty, he is brutal, relentless, and uncompromising in his mission to protect the masses. He didn't understand how much his world would change after saving Maeve, or how she would shatter his convictions. Ander may have magical talents but in his mind, nothing will redeem him from the abomination he is. Bound by more than shed blood, Will, his adopted brother, and only friend. Together they seek and destroy aberrations that poison the world. Until Maeve touched his hand, there was nothing else but the mission. With her, Ander could see a different side of himself, a different life. This is a character driven story written from the 3 main characters POV's. It's a mature adult dark romance & contains dubious triggering situations that some might find offensive. If you want an instant, fearless heroine, Maeve won't be it. Her story is discovering who she is & what power love can bring versus kicking monsters asses. Power & money aren't the only things that make the world turn & those that wield the greatest power control destiny. If you're looking for heroes, Will & Ander are NOT it. If you're drawn to tortured villainous souls, you'll enjoy their saga.
