"Maxine" is the young and famous lead singer for the notorious band, "The Flock" when some some dangerous complications from her past come her way. As she hides her biggest secret from the world, she decides to take a break from fame to keep it under wraps and due to stress of the media and problems back at home. As she desperately grasps to find something to give her hope and motivate her to continue creating music, she decides to return to her hometown and go to the school there as she spends time around family, figuring that would give her the peace of mind and inspiration to keep going. She does this all under a "false" identity and a new look to keep others from recognizing the teen star. As her past collides with her present and it all comes crashing down on her, will she find a ray of hope that knows her situation all too well and has a chance to motivate her to live again, or will it all end as she hits rock bottom from the destruction of the world around her?
