Joshua D.B. Moorder, nicknamed "Blood," is a detective with a unique set of skills. He's introverted and keeps to himself, but he's also a nymphomaniac, which makes for an interesting combination if I do say so myself. Moorder's partner, Max, is the opposite - outgoing and always looking for a good time.

When a low-profile murder case lands on their desks, Blood and Max are tasked with solving it. But as they dive deeper into the case, they realize that there's more to it than meets the eye. They uncover a web of corruption and deceit that goes all the way to the top, and they soon find themselves in over their heads.

As Blood and Max continue to investigate, they realize that they're being followed and that their every move is being monitored. They begin to suspect that they're in danger, and they must work together to stay alive and bring the criminals to justice.

As they get closer to the truth, Blood's addiction threatens to derail the investigation or is it someone wants to keep the secret hidden.

As they go through the life of a sad child, Zoey martens Greens to find the reason and maybe a suspect for a unfortunate happy go lucky widow's suicide,Agatha Greens, they find themselves going through detective Joshua's past which has become a lot darker looking through a new perspective.
