Marinette keeps on getting nightmares and flashbacks from the day of which she had to fight her beloved partner. The memories follow her everywhere, in her sleep, at school, even as Ladybug. An old villain returns. He makes people's nightmares turn into a reality (can you guess who it is?). When Ladybug gets blasted with the villains power, her nightmare also becomes a reality. The one person who she never wanted to see her nightmare has now come face to face with it.
