Though the gift is so perfect indeed, the temptation is great not to keep it for himself...

After the attack on New York, Loki is sentenced to Asgard's dungeons for the rest of his days. During this time, Jane Foster stumbles across an ancient and powerful source. The Aether. The Dark Elves are awakened and will stop at nothing until they have what is theirs. Thor brings Jane to Asgard in hope of finding a cure, he asks Sigyn for help, but neither can find one. The Dark Elves attack Asgard and a great life is lost. Jane Foster is then put under confined quarters on Odin's orders. Thor is then forced to take measures into his own hands. As a result, Loki is free'd and on The Dark World he fools his brother into thinking he's dead and takes the throne of Asgard. As time passes, Thor and The Avengers are in search for Loki's sceptre on Midgard. Until Tony Stark and Bruce Banner create an artificial intelligence that runs wild and is hell bent on destroying Earth. Sigyn is then called upon to return from Asgard and help eliminate the threat of Ultron and she ends up spending more time on Midgard than intended...
