With two new hobbit companions, making 5, the shire-born hobbits set off for the quest to save Middle Earth, consolidating with 5 other members to form the fellowship of the ring. The original aim for the ten was to reach the wicked land of Mordor. But, their plans are easily muddled up. This book is mostly from my perspective, that of Maisy Baggins. The ring must be destroyed" Legolas said "It is true you cannot just walk into the gates of Mordor but you should not be so naive as to think you alone could destroy the ring" I said as Gimli looked towards me "And I suppose you think you're the one to do it ?" Gimli said cockily "And if we fail,what then ? What happens when Sauron takes back what is his ?" Boromir questioned looking towards Gimli as he leaps to his feet "I will be dead before I see the Ring in the hands of an Elf!" Gimli says looking towards me spitefully. "How dare you speak to me in such a manor dwarf!" I said rage in my voice as the council erupted into a storm of arguments. "Never trust an Elf!" Gimli said towards me as I reach for my arrow but a hand grabs my wrist and I feel warm breath on my ear "I wouldn't" Legolas' voice says against my skin as I look at him our faces inches apart. "Fine" I say through gritted teeth as Legolas lets go of my hand softly and stands by my side.
