Cast off of Earth, forty thousand "undesirables" are packed onto colony ships headed to a nearby exoplanet and consigned to a lifetime of slavery under the tyrannical United Powers League. By some odd twist of fate, however, multiple critical malfunctions cause the ships to deposit their passengers on an alien planet on the other end of the galaxy. This story will follow the survivors and their descendants as they brave the dangers of the new world and forge their destinies among the stars.
