She came out thirty minutes later to the living room, she had one of my shirts on and what looked like a pair of my boxers.

"Sorry, I felt hot after the shower."

I laughed, "You're fine."

She looked so beautiful, fresh faced. She hadn't washed her hair so it fell perfectly around her face. She walked over and sat next to me on the couch.

"Thank you for everything tonight Harry. Picking me up, and hosting me here. Invading your space. It means a lot."

"Of course. I would have done it for anyone."

But would you have?

I thought to myself.

 "I made the bed up for you, whenever you're ready to go to bed."

"Thank you, I'm not sleepy, but I'll go in there and let you rest."

She smiled and got up, turning back to face me quickly, "Night Harry."

It took everything in me to not follow after her. I sunk into the couch, running my hands over my face.
