Roxxi Allen is a 15 year old girl from a small town in California. The only "family" she has is her alcoholic father. Her mom died in a car accident when she was only four. Her best friend Cathica, who was more like a sister, recently passed away due to a drug overdose this past summer.

Rayne Cook is a 15 year old girl with an "average family." A mom, a dad, and a twin brother, Jack. She's in the 10th grade and isn't exactly popular. She is a socially-awkward, and afraid of the world around her.

How will life change for the both of them when they meet for the first time and their two separate worlds collide?
