Amy hasn't had the easiest upbringing and life keeps giving her hit after hit with things that a girl in her last year of high school shouldn't have to care about. The absent of her father is both a blessing and a curse, though all the fighting ended, now she has to take care of her mother.

She dreams of getting away from this town, letting someone else deal with all the problems for a while and maybe even attend a collage. Though chances are small since her mother drinks away their money.

When things start to brake apart, she seems to need more help than her independent-self would like. A new person comes into her life at just the right time. But the question is, is he really helping?
