I Promise

They were polar opposites, yet were exactly the same.
They were every day people going through the drags of everyday life.
Family, friends, school and work.
Friendship, happiness, joy and love.
Hurt, sorrow, pain and heartache.

They experienced it all, alone and with others until the day came where they found one another.
It was an explosion of will, want and need.
Bound to be a disaster, for both refused to heal and grow their souls stronger.

It all came down to promises.
Two to be exact.
One made out of love, one made from hate.
One made to please the other as revenge.
One to be broken and one to be kept.
Or Both to be moulded into something more than what it is.
