Killua and Gon are both princes of different Kingdoms. Killua, from the Zoldyck kingdom.. and Gon, from the Freecss kingdom. Recently the two kingdoms have been having disagreements, which these disagreements could lead to a war between the two kingdoms. So King Silva tells Killua he's going to marry a woman from the Freecss kingdom, specifically one of high rank in the hierarchy so they can ensure peace. The two boys meet in a forest soon after and slowly fall inlove as the rest of their world around them falls apart.
