At the Great Rite, she meets the owner of these eyes, Nyx, the heir of the Night Court, son of her dad's greatest rivals, and the ones she had been told about. She had been taught to never trust any fae from the Night Court, but she is drawn to Nyx. She can't stay away from him, and he can't stay away from her. He teaches her the truth of what actually happened during the war, and she realises that her dad's stories have all been lies.
