The phrase 'Life Isn't Fair' could never be more true.

You were the child of a single struggling mother. You knew she would've done anything for you. She worked three jobs, took off every Monday to spend the night with you, did everything she could to give you the best future possible. After a mugging gone wrong, you were left motherless. With a month left until you're eighteen, you're sent to live with the father you never knew you had. Overnight, you went from a motherless fruit of the system to..... a god?

Ainsley was raised to be strong. Of course, he had to be strong. He was chosen by a divine leader. He was to be the great protector of the Paragon! He was to be at the right hand of the saviour as they saved the Messengers of the Paragon from predation!

Father Carlisle said it was gonna be okay. Father Carlisle said that love is natural. Father Carlisle said the Paragon forgives. But after falling to the temptation of the flesh, there was no forgiveness to spare for Ainsley.

This story has heavily triggering themes. Please read with caution.
This story is loosely based on the real-life cult, The Anthill Kids. There will be a chapter about them and their actions in my notebook.

This book will kill you. This book has already killed you. You were a deadthing the moment you read these words. You were a deadthing when you opened the first page. You were deadthing the very instant you discovered this story even existed, the very instant you heard somebody whisper its name. Because if you know about the book, then she knows about you, she sees you. She's watching you right now, can you feel her? She's sitting right behind you. You started to read, and her eyes peeled open and her lips peeled open and she saw you and she's grinning her moon-yellow grin because she knows there's nothing you can do to stop her. She's already killed you. This book has already killed you. So it doesn't matter if you read on or not. There's nothing you can do to change things now. One day very soon she'll let you see her. You'll turn your head and she'll be there, sitting beside you. Or she'll open her mouth and let you hear her dusty voice, and you won't be able to unhear her, you won't be able to make it stop. One day soon she'll reach out and scratch her crackboned finger down your cheek, or you'll wake to find her birdnest body pressed against yours, her fingers worrying themselves beneath your skin. There's nothing you can do to stop her, not now, not ever. But if you want to keep reading then who am I to stop you? Maybe you'll find something I didn't. Maybe you'll find a way to make her unsee you. Maybe. You're dead. She's already killed you. This book has killed you. But don't turn around yet. You might have a few hours left-days maybe, if somebody else starts to read this book as well, weeks if the whole world starts reading. But if you see her now, the rot and the horror will eat you up fast. She sees you. She is on her way. Don't turn around, deadthing. Don't stop now, deadthing. Just read.

Started~ Nov 12 2021 Finished~ Dystopia: an imagined state or society in which there is great suffering or injustice, typically one that is totalitarian or post-apocalyptic. "Do you love me, Cadet?" Why? That seemed to be a question you've been asking yourself a lot lately. Growing up in the underground was tough. You needed to fight for survival, food, money, and even-your freedom. Danny, you're despicable "father", had you stealing from him any chance he got. He was slick and manipulative. Having to steal valuables for him all while taking care of two kids, Kai and Mary, was really hard. The responsibility you held was weighing down on you, making you think more about them and less about you. You didn't mind though. Anything to stay away from the sinful place you call home. After a while of putting up with Danny though, you had you're last straw ripped away when he hurt you're beloved Mary. You ran away to start a new life, taking Mary with you. You become known as "Shade", a mysterious cloaked criminal known for your stealth and strength. You took pride in your reputation, and the best part was, nobody knew anything about you. From your face down to you're gender, it was all concealed. It was all cloaked. But all this changed once they found you. They took you in, capturing you to mold you into a soldier fighting for the survey corps. You despised the survey corps at first. After all, they stole you from your home. Took you away from the people you loved. They ruined your life, right? But... did they? You're stubbornness and skill capture the attention of a certain short black haired male. Corporal Levi was humanities strongest though, he couldn't like you, could he? He couldn't... At first it seemed strange but pleasant to finally get noticed, but soon you realized, nothing good came from the Corporal. In fact, your life seemed to turn into a living Dystopia. [COMPLETED : 5|09|2016 and slowly editing ] He snapped his fingers and a red flame flourished into existence. "How did you-" "I'm a professional." He smirked, clearly enjoying this. If I got a penny for everytime I rolled my eyes at him, I would probably be a billionaire. In a limousine. With a hot wife. And a hotter girl to cheat on her with. And that too I'm straight. He flexed his palms and the flame disappeared. "With practice, even you can control your Blue Matter." I didn't say anything, just nodded. "This Blue Matter is stronger than Red Matter. It can destroy beings. Be careful with it." "Uh, so I am a DreamMaire?" "No, Sophie, you're the Dream Maker." _______________________ Sophie Hazelwood, sixteen, just makes it in the world with her confident aura and weird humour. All she wants is to be a singer and move over her past, however hard that might be. But she's not completely aware of what she's capable of. Meet Keith, new boy with a hot bod who changes her life in ways that could have never been foreseen. Join her in this journey as she fights off mythical beings, braving through broken trusts and shattered hearts. In a world like mine, family are supposed to be the only people you can trust, the only ones who would always have your back. My family is included in that. My father trained us to be killers since we could pick up a knife. I am the youngest of six children in my family and let me say it is not cute or easy. I have been accused, lied to, blackmailed and more. We use each other for our own benefits, like soldiers but still, we're family. This is the story of how I got rid of my disposable soldiers. Who will be trusted and who will be destroyed. While my enemies are playing checkers, I'm playing chess, with a perfect checkmate already in sight. Maybe I can play a few other games along the way. "What? Not so confident anymore are you?" I press my body against him when his back hit the wall. "S-step back," he mumbles attempting to command me. "And if I don't?" I twirl his hair between my fingers. He pushes me back. "D-don't do that," he breathes heavily. "Don't do what, pet?" I tilt my head. "Don't try to control me," his eyes don't meet my gaze. "My sweet Bunny, I'm not trying to control you..." I stalk towards him like a predator stalking it's prey, a wolf catching its meal. When I got close enough, I put my lips to his ear, wrapping my left hand around his neck. "I do control you." I push him to his knees. "That is where you belong, on your fucking knees." We Don't Choose Our Time

16 parts Complete Mature

"We don't get to choose our time. Death is what gives life meaning. To know your days are numbered, your time is short." - The Ancient One Ben had been happy once upon a time. But that was a long time ago. That was before his world was torn from his claws, leaving behind a broken, angry shell. Now a mercenary, he only seeks to endure the rest of his days trying to forget his misery. But that all changes when a client charges him with looking after a young girl. - I wrote this a few years ago, thought I'd give it a whirl online. It's pretty short, not quite novel worthy, but enough to get the job done, I think. And yes, this is basically The Last of Us, but with wolves (mostly different, but the plot is very similar). If I ever write a sequel, I can assure you it will be nothing like the actual sequel.
