When Nate, an ad executive living in LA, returns home to Toronto for the holidays he runs into Jason, the football team captain from high school. As the two are catching up, a candid photo of the two of them makes it way to Jason's family who then believe the two are dating. Both men, not wanting to spend another holiday answering questions about "when will you finally bring someone home?!" decide to help each other out, Nate going to Jason's for Hanukkah and Jason going to Nate's for Christmas. In the true spirit of the season, under the mistletoe and beside the menorah, maybe this fake dating isn't feeling so fake after all.
